General Dentist

California Family Dental Group, a multispecialty dental practice, is seeking a professional, dependable General Dentist to provide general dentistry services one Monday per month. We are looking for a clinician who values quality patient care, ethical practice, clear communication, and collaboration with fellow providers.

PAY WILL BE DETERMINED ON EXPERIENCE

Position and Schedule
This is a recurring, part-time opportunity for a dentist interested in maintaining a consistent monthly commitment within a multispecialty office. The selected practitioner must be available one Monday each month, with dates coordinated in advance.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and periodic dental examinations, evaluate diagnostic records, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide general dentistry services within the practitioner’s training, experience, and clinical scope.
• Clearly explain findings, treatment options, risks, benefits, and alternatives to patients.
• Coordinate care with specialists when referrals or additional evaluation are appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow office protocols for patient safety, infection control, informed consent, and quality of care.
• Work respectfully and effectively with clinical and administrative team members.
• Required Qualifications
• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• An active, unrestricted California dental license in good standing.
• No history of disciplinary action against a professional license and no current or prior license probation, suspension, or revocation.
• No pending disciplinary proceedings or restrictions affecting the ability to practice dentistry.
• Current professional liability insurance and applicable certifications required for the services provided.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.
• Reliability and the ability to commit to the agreed monthly schedule. Professional Disclosure and Verification
• Applicants must provide complete and accurate information regarding their licensure and professional standing. Any pending licensing-board investigation, disciplinary review, or matter that could affect eligibility to practice must be disclosed during the application process.
