Duties
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, review medical histories, and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices.
- Utilize advanced dental software Dentrix for documentation, treatment planning, and medical records management.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Educate patients on oral health care strategies, preventive measures, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient comfort and procedural efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive medical documentation while complying with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA certification if applicable.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control standards, and dental fabrication processes.
- Experience with oral surgery procedures including dental extractions, and root canal therapy is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dental office management software Dentrix is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
